Packing all the essentials, the 2024 CANNING Off-Road Teardrop Camper is your home away from home. Featuring a full-size queen bed, fully equipped kitchen, 90L fresh water and 150AH AGM battery as standard, this camper is ready to hitch up and go on your adventures. Whether it’s short weekend trips or touring across the country, the CANNING will accompany you and your family and provide all the necessities to enjoy the great outdoors, without having to forego your favourite luxuries from home.

No Setup

The CANNING literally requires no set up. Pull up to a safe location, pull the hand-brake and you can get into bed straight away.

No Canvas

Completely sealed from the outside, the monocoque, composite body protects you in the harshest conditions. Say goodbye to wet canvas, packing your tent on cold mornings and drying your camper after a trip.

Chassis - Australian Made Hot Dip Galvanised

Hitch Campers fully Off-road chassis are market leading, using Australian steel, which is laser cut, interlocked and welded on the Gold Coast before being hot dip galvanised to ensure long lasting durability.

Suspension - Cruisemaster XT Level 2 Airbag Suspension

At Hitch they believe ease of use is key, that’s why they have opted for Cruisemaster Level 2 Airbag suspension as standard on the CANNING. Hitch are one of the few manufacturers in the Off-Road Teardrop Camper market offering Airbags as standard. Not only does it provide a premium ride quality compared to leaf or coil springs, it’s a breeze levelling the camper for a comfortable sleep and lowering for storage or ease of use depending on your height. For those who want a little more luxury; wireless and self-levelling setups are available.

Construction - Composite, monocoque construction using the latest technology

Hitch Campers use the latest in technology and construction techniques for the perfect balance of strength, insulation and durability, while keeping weight to a minimum. Their composite panels are made from a mixture of heavy-duty fibreglass and XPS foam; offering not only great strength but fantastic insulation properties as well.

Electrical - REDARC Manager30

The electrical system is based around REDARC’s Manager30. This provides charge rates of up to 30A, automatically manages solar inputs, provides 240V charging and much more. With the option to pair this with REDARC’s RedVision interface, you’ve got easy access to all of your power usage and the ability to control your camper all via Bluetooth on your phone. Included as standard is a 150AH AGM battery, but if that isn’t enough for your needs there are upgrades to lithium with capacity options to suit everyone’s needs.

Kitchen - Fully equipped with gas stove

Despite being compact, the rear-facing kitchen is as perfect for quick stops on the road as it is for preparing a 5-star meal for family and friends. One of the largest Kitchens you’ll find in a Teardrop camper. It features a Dometic 2-burner gas stove, 90L food grade water tank, and stainless steel sink as standard. With ample storage and bench space for your air fryers, toasters and coffee machines etc, you’ll be able to enjoy all of the comforts of home, on the road! If electric cooking is more your thing then we’ve even got the option of an induction cooktop!
